Bexhill Drill Hall

by | May 22, 2025 | News

After several years of waiting the Royal Sussex Regimental badge that adorns the front of the Bexhill Drill Hall, one of the very few original drill halls that remain in Sussex, has finally seen the renovation completed. Confirmation has been received that the Sussex Army Cadet Centre is to be officially re-opened by the Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex, Mr Andrew Blackman CStJ, on Thursday 17th July 2025. Both individuals, Branches and the Association all contributed towards the cost of the restoration, so another piece of County and Regimental heritage has been saved. The images below show the badge before restoration, badly weathered, and what it looks like today, albeit bedecked with scaffolding!
