It is with much sadness that we have to inform you all of the passing of Cpl Robert (Bob) Bumstead, ex-1 R Sx & 3 Queen’s. He passed peacefully in the early hours of 7 June 2022 at the Conquest Hospital, St. Leonards-on-Sea, with his family by his side. Bob will be known to most of you for his long service as Branch Secretary of the Hastings Branch of the Royal Sussex Regimental Association. Bob’s funeral is at 1115hrs on Monday 4 July at Hastings Crematorium, and afterwards at the Hastings and St. Leonards Angling Association, Marine Parade, Hastings. Our sympathy goes to Bob’s family.
