With Sympathy

by | Feb 13, 2022 | News

It is with great sadness that we announce the death on 13th  January 2022 of David (Bunny) Bunclarke. David joined the regiment in 1966 having previously served with 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment. David served with the Recce Platoon for most of his service and was a very professional soldier, earning a great deal of respect from his comrades and all who served with him. A typical Yorkshireman with a wonderful sense of humour and the ability to talk straight when needed. On leaving the army, he became a DVLA Driving Test Examiner and made good progress into a supervisory role. In retirement, he and Kate became enthusiastic caravan tourers and spent a lot of winters in warmer climes. A very pleasant man and good company. He will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and comrades and our condolences go out to Kate and his family.
