It is with sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Alce, who has passed away at the age of 91 surrounded by his daughters. David Potter, who reported his death, has very fond memories of Dennis. He was David’s WO2 instructor when he first joined the TA in 1962. He also ran a very successful Assault Pioneer platoon which David was  part of, along with Rod Evens. He was also Company Sergeant Major of HQ Coy 4/5 Royal Sussex.

Dennis’s funeral is to take place at Hasting Crematorium on Thursday 24th February at 11.15. and David will ensure that any further details from the Hastings Branch will be posted on this website.
