by | Mar 22, 2024 | Notice Board

Herstmonceux Castle and grounds are currently closed as of November 2023 due to structural issues requiring immediate attention. it is clear that these will take 12 to 18 months to remedy. If you go to the “Herstmonceux Castle” website you will find more detailed information and they will be updating it as more information becomes available. What this means for Royal Sussex Regimental Association members is that there will be no access to the memorial garden until further notice. I will be in regular contact with the castle staff and advise members through this website when circumstances change and admission is allowed. Alan Bernhem-Parter. Eastbourne Branch Liaison, Bader Centre, Herstmonceux Castle.  The RSX News Desk would like to apologies for the late posting of this notice.
