The service of remembrance for those lost at the Battle of Boars Head will take place as is tradition in front of the Memorial in The Steyne, Brighton. The service will be attended by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove, the acting Archdeacon of Brighton and Lewes, accompanied by other civic dignitaries. Councillor Amanda Grimshaw BEM, Armed Forces Champion for Brighton & Hove City Council will greet those attending and give a short history of the events leading up to the Battle of the Boar’s Head and the battle itself.
