Dieppe Veterans Parade

by | Aug 15, 2021 | News

The Annual Dieppe Remembrance parade and memorial service was held in Newhaven on Sunday 8th August and is today organized by the local council. Previously this event was run by the Dieppe Veterans Association with assistance from the Canadian High Commission in London. But with the passing years the parade and service have attracted a different array of military organisations, but have always included the Royal British Legion and The Royal Sussex Regimental Association, in the form of Brighton Branch, who have held a presence in the parade for many years.

Dignitaries on the day included the Lord Lieutenant of Sussex, the High Sheriff of East Sussex and the Mayor of Newhaven, as well as all the other local councils.

Well done Brighton Branch, you are a credit to the Association.
