Officers Luncheon 2021

by | Jul 15, 2021 | News

Monday 12th May 2021 saw the Royal Sussex officers and wives gathered at Pashley Manor Gardens for their annual lunch. This was made possible due to the extraordinary kindness of owners Angela and Jim Sellick, and their staff, who laid on a superb meal for the gathering. After drinks on the terrace the assembled group transferred to the Garden Room for the meal. It was wonderful to see so many friends and colleagues in such a lovely setting after such a long break due to the Covid pandemic, and it felt very re-assuring to be, once again, resuming normality which even the overcast day didn’t spoil.

After thanking the hosts, the Chairman updated everyone on the Associations re-organisation, and reminded all the members that access to the Members area of the website is password protected and that they can only receive a password by completing and submitting the Registration Form, a link to which was sent to them all recently. This CRM Registration Form is vital to the Association as the information gathered in it now forms the Association’s Members database, which under current GDPR regulations has to be kept on a secure server. The cry was “please use the Members Area”, for in future this is where the majority of the Association’s information and communications will be published.
