Brighton Branch members once again honoured the fallen of the Battle of the Boar’s Head. At 11.00 hrs on Thursday 30 June 2022 Cllr. Amanda Grimshaw of Brighton & Hove Council greeted those attending with a short history of the events leading up to the battle, and of the battle itself. Gathering around the memorial prayers were led by the Royal British Legion Chaplain Fr. Jim Horton, which were then followed by the Regimental Collect and the Lord’s Prayer. Last Post was sounded with wreaths being laid after Reveille by the Mayor and The Royal Sussex Regimental Association.
